Default rear side lamp

I need to change the bulb in the red side lamp (under the fuel filler cap). Do you take a screwdriver and pry the cover off like you do the front side amber covers?
Thanks,

Is it mentioned in the Owner's Manual, like for the front ones? I just went to replace the front left bulb and it turned out to be OK and started working when I put it back in.
I didn't use a screw driver for the front one, I just pushed the lens back and pulled out the front, there is a spring clip at the back that compresses.

Good question, hadn't thought of that, but no it isn't. Looks to be the only light not mentioned in that section of the manual.

The fronts and backs are identical, and except for the colors, interchangeable.

They are changed in the same manner.

I actually have a set of clear lenses, and use red leds in the rear and amber in the front. (my side repeaters are clear with amber leds, too.)

OK, thanks. I'll just have to push a little harder.
