Default Rear view mirror question

Hello

I'm looking at a used rearview mirror on eBay -- mine is the one with a base and a wire hookup ( maybe auto dimming?) mine is held on with a hose clamp and the night dim doesn't work...
How hard is the r & r on this?
Thanks

Cheers

The wires that go out the back of the mirror must match up to the wires on the new one otherwise the auto darkening won't work. Otherwise, just pull the old one, and put in the new one and hope your mounting points aren't broken.
