I have recently bought back a previous x type estate I owned about 4 years ago. In the time it has been out of my possession it has mainly been off the road and done less than 1000 miles in those four years. It appeared for sale in my local garage and it was such a good price against my wife's advice I bought it. During this time it has developed a few issues. One is the rear windscreen wiper wont function? I have done some intial investigation fuse check good (and changed just in case) not that , relay check and swapped with other previous x type not that, motor dismantled and checked runs smoothly on external supply (used old hornby model railway controller did job well) checked switch on steering wheel seems to work fine. But still the wiper wont work. Any idea what may be the cause? Tried to check wiring loom as best as can without dismantling car and also can't see any obvious problems. Any help much appreciated as at the end of my tether now?? Many many thanks Dave
