Refinishing BBS wheels - any hints or tips?
I have a set of Melbourne BBS rims that i want to spruce up. I got them refinished "professionally" 2 years ago but they have got scuffed up again and the finish is not looking so good anymore. I've seen some good results on you tube with people doing some DIY sanding, filling priming and painting. anyone tried this themselves and able to recommend any materials, paint match, etc. I am looking for stock finish or as near as possible and I have a spare wheel that is cracked and good for the garbage so will be experimenting on that first!!
I have a set of Melbourne BBS rims that are in need of a refinish. I may try it myself but I was wondering for those who have done it or had it done, how were the bolt head that show done. Were they painted over? Masked over? or removed?
