Replace Wheel Bearings Singly Or In Pairs

Car has covered around 100,000 miles so is it acceptable to replace just the worn bearing or better to replace both sides?

As far as wheel bearings go I can't see any problem in replacing just one side .

Googles were 50 - 50 on one or both

+1 on just replacing the side that has failed.

Different for suspension bushes / springs / shock absorbers which are all best replaced on both sides.
