Replacing the Accesories

Replacing the Accesories
I have a question for you Jag guys and hopefully Jag Techs. I've owned my 2002 X-Type since it was new and at 80k it spun two bearings and bent two of the rods. I have picked up a new longblock at a local yard with only 40k on it but since it's just the longblock I am reusing all of the 80k accessories. So here's the question: while I have this whole car apart what accessories are essential to replace? Is the water pump about to go out? Starter? It's a manual, so is a non-abused clutch still strong at 80k? How about the transfer case?
With over 40 hours of wrench time just getting the motor out of the car I want to make sure I won't have to pull it again anytime soon.
Cheers
