Try this.
Close all of the doors and hood.
Key in pos II engine not running.
Hold both the driver window and passanger
window switches in the driver door panel in the closed or
up position for 5 to 8 seconds after the windows are closed.
Release buttons.
Remove the ignition key.
Operated the remote twice. lock/unlock lock/unlock.
This will reset the UEM brain.
This can correct faulty operation of the sunroof
and/or erratic door lock function.

Using the key in the drivers door to lock/unlock
lock/unlock will also reset the UEM ----
Upper Electronic Module.

GOT IT! I'd give it a go for the S-Type and see what happens. Never hurts to try.

K Spartan..come on.....give.
This thread was started back in January, you chipped in around early June.
Is that you just got it fixed? If so, was it as per the instructions you were given by Racer, or some other method?
Plz let un know

Jim

Follow these instructions exactly...and you'll be good to go.

Press the switch to operate the roof panel to the fully tilt position.
Release the switch. Press the switch again in the same direction,
fully tilt and hold for 30 seconds or until the roof panel moves
slightly. Release the switch and, within 5 seconds, press in the
same direction and hold. The roof panel will travel automatically
to the fully open position, then back to the fully closed position
and then stop.
