Exclamation Resovoir Fluid Level Switch

I am just wondering if there is a way to test this to make sure it is bad. I just replaced the grommet on my windshield wiper fluid resovoir and after starting up my car, it is showing low fluid warning on cluster. Your help is greatly appreciated, thanks!

If you go here:- Jaguar X Type Instrument Cluster Diagnostic codes you will find details on how to display the 'hidden diagnostics' , once activated there is an indicator for washer fill status (see the table on website) unfortunately getting at the sensor is difficult so the best bet is to get all the fluid out then refill slowly to see status change. If it dosn't then check connector, or remove the sensor and test it with a multimeter.

Question Multimeter Test

Thanks, I really appreciate that info, I knew how to get into that mode but wasn't sure what everything meant. If it does come down to testing with multimeter which I figured I could do, I am just unsure what I need to look for when using the multimeter. My dad and I aren't much of electricians. Thanks Again!
