The sensor on my x-type that beeps when ur backing uptoo close to sumthin is making a static noise instead of a "beep..beep". Any ideas on what the problem is. If its not one thing its another.

lol, check the wiring. Sensor is located in the trunk well, where the spare tire is.

The bleeper itself is on the parcel shelf...could be on its way out orthe wiring.
Thereverse park module is on te LH wall beside the spare tyre which is an easy place to start checking any wiring.

Mine stop working(beeping), is there a way to check if the module is faulty? I followed the wires to the sensors, and everything seems to be fine

I dont know other than swapping with a known good one to see if your car starts working or not.

any1 know what would cause it to stop working but beep when it goes in other gears randomly?
