The speakers on the right side of my x-type have stopped working. The front RT tweeter seems to still work but all other speakers on the right side are not.
I have replaced the head unit hoping that would cure the problem but it's the same.
I have removed the RT door panel and have checked the connections and all looks fine...nothing lose. ...very strange. The RT tweeter is working but everything else is dead on the RT side. (front and back) The Sub is working still as well.

Any suggestions?

I have the 3.0 Xtype not sure if this is the premium system or not...Im assuming not.

Radio Amp might have gone bad. I think it's located in of of the doors, i can't remember which one, I'll check alldata and see....

 

The amp is located in the boot screwed to theLH side wall on 2004- models
Up to 2004 and itsnext to the sub in the parcel shelf

 

I only see the CD changer...nothing else there? Maybe I dont have an amp?

 

get new speakers, they go out all the time and look fine, want to verify, pull one from the left and swap over to the right side
