hello forum, hope everybody's enjoying there summer...question about my radio...... lately it takes about 3 to 5 times of pushing the button to turn on... think this is a sign of a potential problem fuses are good ???????????? thanks tony.. FYI- Battery is six yrs.old...... and other day the ( check rear lights came on but there all ok ? ) one more thing if i had to change the battery will the radio work or will i need to find a code to put in.... it's a 2001 xk8

 

6 yr old battery is about to give it up, especially if you don't drive every day. US cars didn't require the radio security (have you ever done a hardreset?) so you should be good to go. Don't forget to reset the windows after.
