RF module Keys transponder not work
Hello guys. I have a Jaguar Xtype 2009 3.0 V6 and the remote control keys do not work. I tested the keys and they are working. I think there may be a problem with the receiving antenna but I could not find it. Could any friend tell me where it is?
Step by step:
Your headline is: "RF module Keys transponder not work"
Your text is about the remote.
First thing to understand is that RF remote and transponder are 2 different pairs of shoes...
I assume you can still start your car? This means, your transponder is OK.
So the issue is about your remote to open the car/boot.
How did you test the keys?
"Antenna not working" is highly unlikely.
Did you check/replace the battery?

hi, have you just got the car and buttons on remote don't work? When I bought mine the buttons didn't work. I got a new mini circuit board for the key, very cheap and easy to change. It still didn't work. But found out it was american spec. It was only a matter of pressing the buttons in a certain sequence to change it and then it worked fine. I found the sequence on this site.
Yes! The transponder works, the car starts normally. The remote control does not work. I tested both keys with the Mini Key Tool and the frequency is OK. However, the car does not open or close the doors with the remote. I looked all over the car, even in the places indicated in the manufacturer's technical manual, and I did not find the remote control's receiving antenna.
