Default Sat nav player wiring

Hi I've taken my sat nav dvd player out of the car and left the disc inside the player.im looking to buy a plug with wiring to allow me to connect straight to the battery and eject the disc. Alternatively I have the plug so if anyone could supply me with information on which wires I need to put into the plug to allow me to power the navigation DVD player up. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What year car are we talking about? I want to make sure that I get you the correct wire designations so you do not accidentally short something out, damaging the radio.

Default Jaguar X type sat nav dvd player

Hi it's a 2003 model. I'm lead to believe the hardest part is aquiring the plugs. I have the plugs but still need a way to connect straight to the battery to eject the navigation disc

Here's the wiring diagram:

You need pin 1 and 11 on CN100 at +12v, pin 2 is the Ground connection.

Ben, would you have something like that diagram for the newer XJ's (2010+). Having information like what you have is always a good thing to have. Never know when it might come in handy. I know I am pondering a front looking FLIR system for my XJ and having a pinout for the radio would be very, very helpful.

Sorry Thermo, just a collection of useful X350 stuff that I've built up 'just in case', which just happens to be the same DVD-NAV components as the X-type and S-type.

Ben, we all have our stash of useful information. I just try and build mine up so I can help out others as much as I can and pass on what I can too.
