We brought a x-type to swap over parts for our other car, so started taking out the sat nav/cd player to see what wiring was like at the back only to find that the car will no longer start or lock. Don't know what I have done wrong?? Had to lock car up manually...Grrrrr Can anyone help me please

 

Check 2 large locking connectors on the back of the Climate/sat nav unit 1x white 1x black.
These carry the Canbus signal.
If not fully plugged in and locked the car won't start (symptoms as if battery is dead)

 

Thank you for the help, the battery was dead car is now running
