How can I tell if the turbo is running please ? 2003 2.0d SE
X Type 2003 2.0d SE
Problem - flashing glow plug light, engine cutting out, resets on turning ignition off, rough idle, no black smoke, have taken off and cleaned EGR valve which was in a bad state - don't know if that is working or not - cleaned MAF sensor - no change should I replace it ?
Please also can anyone tell me what the extra sensor is I found - looks like another mAF sensor on the pipe going down from the EGR Valve ?
This morning will not start at all...... Any help much appreciated

Hi I've tried this method with several other cars but not with the x yet. Loosen the intercooler to turbo jubilee clip and rev the engine. Pipe should pop off due to pressure confirming turbo is indeed working.
