I was looking for someone to help me out with installing lower control arms for my car and Dr. Dome,Joe was kind enough to help me out. We planned out a day and I went to his home and he is super super knowledgeable about these cars,has any part that you could think of and even had the thermostat housing that was leaking on my car. We replaced that and a few odds and ends on my car and I left there feeling great about my car and knowing that I there is a cool car guy that totally loves the xtype. He has extra cars that he uses for parts and hes building a x type wagon which is going to be really neat when its done. I look forward to hearing back there soon to Hellerton PA and if anyone out there is in need of parts or some type of repair that is giving them trouble.He is totally the man for the job. Shout out to Joe and all of his parts that totally saved the day for me. Thanks a bunch

Amen. I also made the pilgrimage to Hellerton, PA to pick up a front fender and an instrument cluster for my 2006 X-Type Estate Wagon. He is incredibly knowledgeable on the X-Type, a skilled mechanic (I watched him remove a front door from one of his parts cars and pop out the instrument cluster in under 5 minutes) and very fair with his prices. And guaranteed the instrument cluster saying that he would buy it back if it didn't work. A great resource!

 

 

Dr Dome is a great resource for parts and a very fair and easy guy to work with. Over the last couple years I have bought numerous parts from him. He has always shipped promptly and has even gone the extra mile on occasion for parts. I purchased a new engine cover since mine was missing and when it arrived i discovered i didn't have the mount bracket and fasteners. I contacted him and within a couple of days they arrived in the mail.
