The funny thing is the British ruled India for over a century, and now an Indian-based automotive company is purchasing GB's iconic platform! Ahhh the irony!

Just be sure not to contact Jaguar's headquarters! Christ, you'll get an effin' mix of British/Indian accent craziness.

Tataaren't a prestigious car maker but thanks to this deal andlet's not forget tata also bought LAnd Rover ,this deal will put some feathers on their caps .

 

Somewhere I heard or read (maybe here somwhere)..that TATA's main agenda was to buy Land Rover, but Ford said it had to be a package deal with Jaguar too..And so now Jaguar is basically up for sale still from TATA.

 

I also heard that fiat might buy Jaguar hence [&:]lol

I would like to buy a hamburger ...LOL what hamburger well I would like to see Rolls Royce,Bentley,Aston Martin and Jaguar are under the same firm's wings .

Just so you guys know... TATA did buy jaguar and landrover as of this past wednesday for $2.3billion. Its funny b/c everyone laughed at TATA 10 years ago when they entered the car market. They said this company had no business making cars and should focus on building trucks and trains. Well after the launch of there first car and selling millions of units peopel started giving this company a second look. I believe jag androver willdo good under TATA as whatever this guy touches turns into gold.

People are speculating also that TATA might buy Ferrari, but as of the 25th in a presss conference Mr. TATA de nounced the rumour. Though TATA owns about 38% of Fiat they will not be buying Ferrari.

I felt good about this company and baught some of there stock. It was trading about a dollar and change above there 52 week low and if it turns out to be like a ford or chrysler stock then I will be sitting good. If you are interested int hsi stock there ticker is TTM

 

I cant understand the British accent you mention. (Guv'nor=London).
Britain has probably the most accents in the world.
Examples are Scouse,Cockney,but mine is a Geordie accent (pronounced Jordy) which is from the Newcastle-Upon-Tyne region of UK, and is only a few milesfrom Sunderland where they have a much different twang ie Makem accent.
Usually I have to speak slowly when I am not in the North East Area of England as people from other parts of the UK cant understand and I have to repeat myself.
The Yorkshire Ripper hoaxer in the late 70's?? had his accent traced to with a couple of streets!
