So, who has the most miles?
2001 S-Type 3.0 with 182,215 on the dash. Still strong running for my 2 hour per day commute. Looks great too, no rust! Pics will be up shortly.
Edit: sorry, just noticed this is an x-type thread. Darn mobile....

I'm right at 155,000, original tranny, transfer case, and engine here too...the only thing I've done is preventative maintenance such as the starter, fuel pump, spark plugs, etc. I did have to replace the coolant tank, and a vaccum line, but other than that no big issues. I do need to change the shocks...I'm assuming they are from the factory since I bought the car @ 40k and haven't changed them!
It has even survived an attack from a rather large tree several years back:

All it took was a bit of rubbing compound...and the factory paint still looks great today. These cars are built to last with proper maintenance!

2002 3.0 194k miles
160K, Original drive line. Flushed transfer @ 140K, replaced water pump @ 80K, all "O rings" booster pipe, plugs, thermostat and water pipes @ 130K. Needs bank 1 O2 sensor. Regular oil/filter with mobile - one . only use Bosch filters , 87 octane gas, Dexcool antifreeze,NO additives in oil or fuel(we have 10% ethenal)
How about the fewest miles? :-)
My 2003 X-type has only 89k.
Not bad for a ten year old car. Yes, I drive it every day. I live about 5 miles from my work and have no life
, so I don't put a lot of miles on it.

I traded mine (03 X-type 3.0L) back in Aug of 2011, and it had 82,000 miles..Without any major issues.
Things I did to keep it running good over the years (in no particular order):
All in all nothing major...Never left me stranded other than when the battery failed and that was in my garage.

The 2003 2.0D I'm looking at has 130K and is on a used car lot, I don't think there's much history with it as it was supposed to have been owned by a mechanic who did everything himself, I'm a little wary as I've done my own work on many of cars I've owned over the last 50+ years, but I always used to keep a record of everything, perhaps that's just me.
It's also nice to read that someone else has bought from a used car lot he one I'm considering but seems to have been well looked after, but another one the same I looked at today was quite rough and certainly not worth looking at further.

2004 3.0. 145,000
I bought her last spring with 135,000. I love her to death. I've replaced the TC fluid twice. I installed a ball valve on mine and it's very easy to change. I also replaced the transmission fluid. I put new plugs in her the first weekend I had her. They were original. I owned a '01 S Type prior to this and I enjoy the X more. She handles like a sport car.

226k on our '05 2.5L, manual transmission. Everything is stock with the exception of the water pump that was replaced at 218k and now looking to replace the rear wheel bearings. It's been a daily driver for my wife.
