Default sold my x type today.

I was driving home from taking my son to his doctors appointment this morning. While I was sitting at a light the cel came on and gearbox fault was on the dash.

Long story short turns out there was a small crack in the transmission case and it dumped out all its fluid.
Listed it on Facebook group for 1200 and sold it an hour later for 800.

It's like a death in our extended family.

I believe I can speak for everyone on the forum in expressing our collective condolence for your loss, and our sincere belief in the power and the glory of resurrection through the lord of Rebuilt Transmissions.

Did your X have a name?

No I hadn't named it yet. I only had it for about 4-5 months. I made enough off of the hail damage it sustained last month to not get to upset about the whole deal. Plus the a pillar rust was starting to get to the point of no return.

I've been looking at getting a XJR or an audi A8. So it kind of gives me a kick in the *** to go out and find one.

Default Sorry about your loss.

Sorry to hear about your loss of your X-Type. I thoroughly enjoy mine. I hope that you get another vehicle that is just as fun!

S-Types are pretty cheap these days, and they're much more reliable than the X-Type
