Smile some final parts

Okay, well now that I've decided I'm going to focus on the jag for the last week of summer before Canada starts cooling down, I need some parts.

Reverse sensor, one of mine was subject to a high pressure washer...not a good combo, I looked on jaguarparts.com, but I can't find it, can someone send me a link to it.

Also, I can't remember who, but someone did a spoiler mount, off one of the ebay sellers, and I believe the member said it turned out nice, do you have any pictures lieing around, and mounting instructions, anybody can answer.

Finally, this is out of curiosity, how many of you have had to special order the cabin air filter? becuase it seems nobody has it in town, except the one guy whos charging 83 bucks for one.

Thanx in advance, and enjoy my spelling.

Disco, as for the cabin air filter, I have to special order it almost every time. It only takes a day to get normally, so, just order it one day and go from there.

As for the spoiler, can't say that I have seen one mounted. I did do one on the son's Honda Civic and it wasn't all that hard. I grabbed a factory one off of a Chrysler Laser and then modified it to fit on to his Civic. Looked pretty good. The hard part of it all was getting the holes drilled for the deck lid. But, after getting the spoiler centered where I wanted it, I had put tape on the deck to prevent scratching and also to allow me to outline the posts. From there, I used the rubber sound isolation pads as my template and putting them inside of the outline I made.

As for your rear backup sensor, if you go to http://www.jaguarparts.com, you can input your vehicle information. It will then take you over to a new screen where it will have all the various parts of the car (ie, engine electrical, body, rear suspension, etc). Scroll down and select "Rear Bumper". You will see it add a line underneath it for "Rear Bumper Components". Click on that and you will have your choice between the inner and outer sensors (they are different, so, know which one you need). They are $71 (USD) and then you need to add on some shipping. That is the price if you do everything over the internet. If you call them up, then the price goes up. Just how they do things.

You can usually match up the cabin air filter at an auto parts store if you take yours with you.

That being said, a few clicks online and you can have one at your door for about $25.

No boy racer spoilers I agree.

Mina has the spoiler you are looking for, just needs paint. Price is pretty reasonable.

The dealer had the cabin air filter in stock and it wasn't that expensive ...I think around $40 (give or take a little) and that's in ontario.
Let me know if u find a backup sensor, I need one of those too.

How often should the cabin air filter be changed? I have a 2005 that just turned five years old, but it only has 27000 miles on it. Should I change the cabin filter out?

it depends on the conditions you drive in. more dirt roads, the worse it will be.
5 years, i probably would either way, it does filter all the air you breathe
