Default Some help

Hi all

I am new here and hope some can help me.

I am looking to buy a new car, a X type estate 3.0

But, I do not know how the quality is on the x-type. I am now a BMW owner...but I like the styling in and out on the Jaguars. But, some say they are to poorly made, will cost a lot to keep running and so. Is that tru? Or just street talk?

Also, how is the safety on them, if I find my self in a car crash?

I am seeking the one with AWD, automatic and 3.0 petrol.

All help is good to me.

Thanks for looking

Cheers

if you are happy with the way your BMW is as far as reliability goes.... the Jaguar will be fine for you. I had a few BMW's (Big Money Waste, BMW) in my days and the Jaguar is better hands down. The crash test are good. As for the estate goes, I don't know that much. Here in states you either have a car or an SUV. Not too many estate's around here.

Hi

Thanks for the reply and good info. Well, yes, I am happy with the BMW, but...how to say, it is not 100% for me. The Jaguars are better looking inside and outside.

They, the X for me, is a great looking car, classic, modern and so one. Yes, I know the X is based on a Mondeo, but it is far from a Modeo.

Right now I have a BMW 330ixa, so a 3.0 X is just what I seek. You know how the AWD from Jaguar is?

Thanks for looking

Cheers

You'll be better of getting a newer mode of the X type as they are more reliable, avoide getting one under 2003 since 2001 and 2002 were the worst models and 2001 was rated the worst car of the year. Anyway, they are relible just get them after 2002 and You'll be fine. AWD is nice and I like it, no real issues here. Take care of the car and the car will take care of you.

Like yourself, I like classic/modern look jaguar has so I went with X Type.

Hey dino.................make sure you go for 04 plate or newer if possible.....most probs sorted by then.
Great car thats great to drive....the AWD is awesome in the snowor wet and the 3.0 has a nice punch to it.

All the best

Jim
