We have a 04' 3.0 X-Type and since we don't have a dealer here I called one in Colorado. They gave me a Jag part number of C2S46895. He went and pulled one off the shelf and took it out of the box. It was a NGK-R plug. They said they use NGK's in all the cars. When I googled the Jag number it came up with a NGK TR6AP-13E as a cross reference. Is the NGK the way to go? The only ones available here that cross over to the original Motorcraft AWSF22FS are the Autolite APP103 and the Denso PT16EPR-L13.

 

I just picked up the autolites double platinum yesterday. That's what I've had in my car for last 4 years or so..they still looked ok other than the oil that was on them. But time to change for me at least.

 

Picked up the Autolite APP103's today at Advanced auto. Will report back once they're installed. Also they had the upper plenum gaskets for $12.29.
