6.5" (165mm) for all 4 doors.
Stock non premium speakers are Philips.
Focals were the ideal upgrade for mine and they sound great:-

As they said 6.5 in all no matter premium or not...you can also fit 5.25's if you wanted all you need is an adapter. Since your upgrading the speakers anyways though you have to have a spacer to get the speakers to fit as the magnets are bigger and speakers mounting depth in general are bigger than stock speakers. You have to space them out becuase if not your window won't open because the speaker is deeper into the door. Ask spartanx or beelab43 as to whether the 5.25's are accetable as replacements (they both bought the mb quart esa213 5.25" component speakers.)

i think i remember why the MB Quartz are the best and aquill please correct me if i am wrong but don't they just "drop" right in with no spacers?

Hey jvegas I don't think they'd drop in w/out a spacer but I don't know either, most of the time a spacer is used so the magnet/back of the speaker stays away from the window.

Either size is easy because more than likely you'll have to use a spacer, but not necessarily you might not have to. Some speaker companies make shallow speakers.
