How do i know if my 02 Jag X 3.0 L has the sport suspension from factory?

 

JagX02, the sport suspension only came with the sport model. You can identify the sport model by the fact that it has color matched bumper corner pieces and the interior came with a darker gray stain to the wood where the rest of the cars got more of a natural wood color. I believe the sports also came straight from the factory with 18" rims, where this was only an option on the standard X's.

 

Another way to identify the Sport model is the Sport models came with a black grille instead of chrome. They also came with either 17" or 18" wheels.

 

Sport models also had perforated (tiny holes) leather in the steering wheel and a different seat trim pattern.

 

On the factory struts, if you can still read it, it will say 'SPORT' printed in big letters.

 

That's not entirely true about the leather. The first owner could choose the steering wheel (sport/wood trim/and etc.) and seats upholstery.
