Hello again I had posted about changing from standard to premium sound system in my car a 2008 xtype i did everything in the posts i read i even added a wire ( brown) to my fuse from the harness on the amp and still the sub don't show on the head unit got frustrated so i haven't posted my question is do i need to change head units to one that had premium system in it or can the head unit i have be changed to work as a premium system? You guys are the best so i trust what you post i kinda feel like it either something I didn't do correctly. Please advise thanks.

 

Head units are the same. Did you connect the amp to the fiber optic network?

 

Yes i do believe so but if you have any information please share or post pics thanks

 

Why do you believe so? And everything on the fiber optic network has to be connected in the correct order. Maybe double check that.

 

I will try again but i followed several links on this forum but maybe i didn't do it right
