Start Up Issues on 2003 X-Type 2.5

For the past few months when ever my car shuts off I have to jump it w/ my jumper pack to start it up again. When I go on long trips (distances over an hour or so) It'll start up just fine for a few days. Then after those days have transpired it'll go back to having to be jumped upon start everytime. I'm thinking it's the battery and not the alternator. What do you guys think?

Likel the battery. Do you see any hairline cracks around the negative terminal.
Could also be a quiesant draw on battery. That is harder to find.
Alternators on Jags are pretty stout and dont fail often.

thanks for the help man! what exactly is a quiesant draw? Would it be something I could detect or would I have to take it in to be inspected?

You have to hook up volt meter in series to battery. If you have never done it, kinds hard to explain. I will try to find aprocedure that you may be ale to follow.
