Just wanted to pass this along if anyone has the same issue they may want to try this first.

I had developed a steering wheel shake back and forth about 3/8th of in inch each way. It had gotten progressively worse over the last few months.

Took my car in today for a front end wheel alignment and tire rotation. Problem solved! $110.00 bucks.
