Default Steering wheels

How different are the X Type wheels to the S Type wheels?
I am assuming they will bolt up, but the airbag style(shape) are different.
The cruise and radio controls are in the same location for the two that I am comparing, just looking closely...the the airbag shape is abit different.
I want to switch for the wood accents on the steering wheel.

Whatever you do, disconnect the battery and don't work on the car for at least 1 hour. Then again, you probably know that already. I would think they do bolt up, but you never know, so give it a try and let us know.

if it is just the wood accents you want why not just get an X steering wheel with the wood? that is what i did as mine did not come with one. much easier than trying to fir an S wheel.

Well Nineball, the S wheel would OBVIOUSLY be more classy....I mean, come one man...it's from an S-type. Nothing better. I agree though, the X-type does have a wood accented steering wheel. That is, unless you already have the S steering wheel.

No link nineball? Post that up pal! I looked in both the US and UK ebay sites, and no X-type steering wheels with wood.

They have them...the 03 black on black sport I test drove had it...man I did want it with wood but had to settle....super you more or less just have to search ebay for a while...as long as you have the more red color wood and not the greenish that I have you should be able to find one quite easily...can't guarantee you'd find it as cheap as nineball did though...my greenish wood is impossible to find parted off of a car...

the pics are gone as the auction ended so long ago, but since you asked

a little washed out - it was a very sunny day and my cell camera is funky for pics

What wires? I'm lost...LOL! I wonder if Nineball gets annoyed everytime we ask about the amp, or if he just smirks or laughs?
