Default Stock Jaguar radio security code

I read in the Jaguar Audio System handbook that is in my glovebox that if the stock audio system unit is removed, the audio system's radio code must be recorded and used when reconnected. Is that the case and if so how do you locate that radio code?

It's on a plastic card (credit card size) that is usually tucked in to the front of the handbook, likely lost if you didn't see it. You can pay either a private company or a dealership to find out the code for you. Google it.

There is a way to pass the code on alot of cars, a 3 button combo.

Simultaneously press ">>" "PTY" "A.MEM"

Make sure "Please Wait" is on the screen first though.
Enter 3 incorrect codes first.

Regards,

Woody

Robin, stop by your local jaguar dealership and take in your registration. Talk with the service advisor and he will be able to look up the radio code for you for free. No special button combo needed.

I believe cars for North America don't require a code. Rest of the world does.

I replaced my cassette player with a CD. Bought if off ebay and didn't require a code.
