Question Strange vibrations

Hi, i own my 2002 X-type 2.5 (manual transmission) for a few months now and noticed strange vibration that until today used to occur only under hard acceleration. But tonight it became worse and is felt even when driving slowly. Vibration is felt in whole car but seems to originate from rear. I had my car checked recently and the only fault is that oxygen sensor heaters aren't working. So maybe someone else had similar problem and knows what's wrong with my car?

Btw sorry if my message is a little hard to understand but English isn't my first language.

Ed, it sounds like the carrier bearing for the rear driveshaft is going out on you. This is a common problem. You probably feel it most at about 80-100 KM/Hr. If so, this is just confirming the problem. This requires a new rear driveshaft at the cost of about $600 USD. Not sure what it would cost locally for you.

Thanks for the reply. That confirms my suspicions but I do not feel it stronger in 80-100 km/h range. I think I'll just make an appointment with my mechanic...
