Is there any definate way to easily remove a stuck CD in it?
The radio works but there is a CD Error on the LCD display.
Thanks

This is an old thread, but I have this same problem and am wondering if there is an answer other than removing the whole unit?

Adding anothe reply to update my issue:

I decided to remove the unit (which wasn't difficult at all, following the guide used for installing aftermarket radios). After looking inside the CD player, I first saw that there wasn't a stuck CD in there at all. A spring had come loose from one side of the rubber roller that draws the CD in when the player detects it.

So, after working on it, 3 springs total came loose and it was a touch job to put them all back in and at the correct orientation. I put it all back together and made sure that everything was in its place. After installing it in the car, I turned it on and I couldn't believe it... I heard a motor noise from the CD player then silence. I placed a CD in the slot, the CD player took it in, and the music started playing! I ejected the CD without a problem and put it back in to test again - everything now works.

Anyone with this same issue should try this, it was worth the time.
