Is possible to install a after market supercharger on a 3.0 x-type

 

I doubt anyone offers that or ever will and it would be cheaper to buy a car with one.

I suppose anything is possible with enough time and money, but the weak point would be the transfer case, followed by the transmission. Both would need to be upgraded before a supercharger was put on.

 

Years ago I saw an advertisement on a car magazine of couple of times; a electric super charge; It look like turbo charge but used an electric motor to run the turbine. but since then I never saw it any where again, if any body see what I saw?
