I purchased a grill off of ebay from a 2002 Xtype

The grill on my 2005 seems different

The 2002 one has the silver grill with the Jaguar, the mina mesh then a black fiberglass housing where the fins were cut out

my 2005 has the grill and nothing behind it

Im guessing to just use all of the 02 set up on the 05 and call it a day

 

I think you're supposed to cut the bars off your factory grill then the SS mesh goes on.

 

yes, but I think I want to use the painted one over my chrome one

If I use the chrome one there is nothing to hold the mesh on
