Firstly, I appreciate that this question has (probably) been asked more than a few times, but I'm looking for anyone who has used a Synergy tuning box for their x-type as I have a few specific questions.

1 - Which model did you use? (Synergy 1 or 2)
2 - Is there any notable difference between the two models (the Synergy 2 seems about twice the price, is it worth the extra cost)?
3 - How hard is it to fix? (as an X-Type owner, I'm well accustomed to most 'jobs' being an absolute nightmare)
4 - How did it perform for you in terms of grunt and/or economy?
5 - Would it have any adverse effects compared to a professional retune?
6 - Do these tuning kits present any potential for part failure/early wear?
