Hi people, we are seriously looking to give some positive recognition to some of our very active and knowledgeable members, who give lots of their time to reply to the myriad technical questions.


These are the people who are not Certified Jaguar Technicians, but who have years of experience and knowledge that they are always willing to share with others.


Whilst we cannot give them the ‘Tech Certified’ badge, we would like to give them a title that recognizes their invaluable input to this Forum.


Please will you help with choosing the title for these members?


We need you to post your title suggestions into this thread:


Tech Assistance - knowledgeable members.



This is for the benefit of all members of the forum, you will be able to see at a glance that the person that you are dealing with has the experience to answer your questions.


It is also some small way to give recognition and say thank you to these selfless members.

How about the title of "Technical Advisor"? Then list the area(s) in which each person has working knowledge, beneath their title. Example:

TECHNICAL ADVISOR
Electrical
Fuel System
Exhaust System
Body Work

I think this is a great idea. These folks in-the-know are a great help to those of us who have little or no knowledge of these things, and those of us who have some working knowledge and need assistance. They should be recognized. I, for one, certainly appreciate them and thank them for the sacrifice of their time and the contribution of their knowledge and experience. Specifically, thanks, Thermo!

I for one certainly second your comments on Thermo.....If I've seen him help one member I've seen him help hundreds, maybe more, even sometimes offering to help with the work personally. Top man!
Unfortunately as a moderator, I don't think the badge would be available in conjunction with the mod badge
But we all know he's one of the good guys!
