Yeah...glad I didn't. My battery has started to crap out. Its still the original one from '02. Just glad it cranked up one last time...had to wait like 15 minutes after I put fuel at the station. It hasn't been my week. That is all. [8D]

Got a new battery. Dished out $130. Not everyone auto parts store carries them. Gotta love the sound of 800 craking amps. Starts up faster. Damn battery is freakin heavy.

Yeah my battery was like 100 or a little over from a place called mazza...they only sell american made parts for cars and higher end stuff...the battery was a deca I think...the battery in the x is huge and very heavy! Think it was bigger and heavier than my f150's battery!

My battery was $125 from Jaguar in Rockville, MD. Not a bad price considering no one but them had it in stock. It is still double the price I am used to paying for a battery but not a bad deal. The factory Jaguar batteries are nice units, I don't think I'd use an aftermarket battery unless I needed to to support a larger stereo setup.

The aftermarket one I got matches up the same...no more or less power just the only one...its different than the normal no-maintenance batteries I'm used to...little bit different thats why nobody has them (I think but not for sure) I paid like 50 for a battery for my escape last week! The Maxx battery I bought for my f150 was like 65-70 and it was like 150-200 amps bigger than my stock one...

I would never put a more powerful batt than fac specs (if there is an enough room let's say 12 V 72 can be replaced by 12 V 80 )'cosit might damage the alternator and other electrical components in long run .

Ahh...the beauty of the Optima. Best battery in the world. 6 individual coils allow for the battery to give you only as much power as you need. All while giving you optimal performance!

Believe me....for very good reasons. I had that in the 240sx and no problems with it at all, but I sold it for $100 used to some guy that saw it and wanted it desperately because of problems with his car not starting right. (it was like 2am) We put the Optima in and it stopped acting up! I just put his battery in mine and it's been working perfectly fine, but I'll be looking for one in the near future.

Isn't it amazing how much better your car is when you have a new and little bit bigger battery in your car! My escape just like my f150 turns over before the fuel gets a chance to start ( i know it takes fuel to start it was just a figure of speech!)
