Has anyone any experience with the Yokohama S.drive tires? I'm looking to replace my summer set and a couple sites are giving the S.drives good reviews, especially for the price. I'd rather hear from anyone that's had real experience than believe the testimonials.

 

All I have had on the X was the original Continentals which were crap..I replaced them at 20,000 miles with Kuhmos..Ecasta ASX..best dang tire I can recommend for the price.

 

did they produce less road noise? what made them so good?

Quiet, traction, handling, don't follow wear ruts in pavement, wear rating,

 

I put Yokohama Avid HS tires on my Jag. Have out about 2K miles on them so far. They're much quieter than the original Contis, and, traction in heavy rain seems excellent. I'm very satisfied with them so far.
