Default Traction Control Problem

My traction control light is automatically on 98% of the time w/o me pushing in the button. There's times where I start the car and it's not on though, but then the next time I start it, the light on the dash is on.

Anybody know what might be causing it ... wanted so see before I take it to the dealership.

Not that I've noticed. Braking seems normal and fine.

Have ya done any electrical work, like a new cd player, system, lights to the car?

Is it possible to turn this off after it is on, or is it always on and can't be shut off ?

It ended up that my negative battery cable was completely corroded and the battery post was corroded as well. Got both replaced and everything is fine. Battery wasn't getting enough juice out apparently and causing false signals. Plus the car was having trouble starting. But is great now.
