Default Transfer Case Bearing Part Number

Anyone know the bearing part number for the input shaft? There is two on the same shaft that balances the shaft.

Bearing and Race part numbers

This bearing and its race as well, this one is where the transfer case and transmission mate together with the o-ring.

I used that thread to get the bearing numbers for the pinion. But for the actual input shaft in the transfer case there are no numbers. If I get them I will post them.

Thank you

Unfortunately, no one has been able to locate a manual for the transfer case. The bearings and race should have an imprinted number on the side of the unit. Are there ny makings on the side of the race? Have you pulled the bearings off the shaft yet?

They are completely blank. I did pull them and the underside is blank as well. I found a gentleman out in the UK who sells the complete 6 bearing set.

I emailed him and let him know that I have all the bearings already except for two. Hopefully he will sell just the two bearings, if not I offered to pay him for the bearing information and I will source them elsewhere.

Just updating. The gentleman from the UK has not responded to me as of today. I did find a local shop in town that claims they specialize in bearing designation. They said they can measure it and find me the part numbers I need.

Talking A little bit more for those so inclined

Hi all, just to elaborate a bit more to what Gophat posted re part #'s (great job btw!! . Attached is a breakdown along with bearing dims, avg prices, etc.

On Gophat's post above, there are instances where 2 parts #'s appear. These are for the bearing and the race/cup (ie: race/cup 88510 is usually included when buying 88542 & 88547 and so on).

As a tidbit included is also details on the elusive inner seal. Shout out and thanks to members astromorg, sidct, Dr_Jag, rifle, Jesse Lackman and others that contributed to the post where the seal info can be found. I think avern1 was even in there
