Default Trunk Trim (chrome piece above rear license plate)

I have a 2004 x-type 3.0. The Trunk Trim (chrome piece above rear license plate) is coming apart from one side. I cant see any screws that hold it in place. Can anyone provide a way that I could reattach? maybe glue? if so what kind? please help. thanks

auto grade double sided tape may work. but think that piece may be metal. my 05 is rusting some and bubbling paint underneath

Marwan, on my 03 X-Type, if you pull the carpeting off of the trunk/boot lid, you will see a lip and under that lip is four 10mm nuts These nuts hold the trim in place. It is possible that they have simply started to come loose, therefore you loose piece. Else, the posts have broken off. Then I would recommend getting some good double sided foam trim tape and then applying that to the trim piece. Most automotive stores sell a roll of this stuff (1/2" x 60") for around $8. You will need to cut that stuff in half lengthwise and then apply it. So, a single roll will be way more than you need.

If you need more help, let me know.
