Turbo issues
Hi,
My 2007 2.2 Diesel has eventually thrown a code after a month of flashing coil plug lights: P0250 (P0250 Turbocharger wastegate solenoid B, high).
Is this an indication of a bad turbo or are there other checks I can do? I intend to get the cover off at the weekend and see if I can move the vanes easily.
The turbo does whine that can be heard at idle. The actuator moves when I start the car so that isn't sticking...
Audio attached so you can hear the sound at about 10 seconds in.
Do you guys have any other suggestions please?
