Default Upper Intake Manifold Gaskets

Getting ready to do the 100K maintenance on my 2004 X-type.

Found these Fel-Pro Gaskets on Amazon for the upper intake manifold.

Amazon.com: Fel-Pro Ms96494 Plenum Gasket Set: Automotive Amazon.com: Fel-Pro Ms96494 Plenum Gasket Set: Automotive

Anyone have any experience with these, they appear to be a good deal?

That's a good number for the upper gaskets and they should work fine. Be sure that the engine is cold when you start removals and use anti-sieze on the fasteners when you reassemble.

US armor, those gaskets will do the upper part of the intake. Those are the same ones I used on my car. Since you are in that far, might be a good time to do the lowers too. A few dollars more and take very little extra time to do. This will save you from having to worry about potential vacuum issues in the future. The PM I sent you has the info you need for the lowers.

As Thermo says do lowers also,
I replaced upper and lower with Fel-Pro gaskets earlier this year on my 3.0l v6 and they are working fine.

Got them from Rock Auto worth a price check?
