How could I tell if my 05 xtype is a VDP edition? Does it have to have the marker on the rear of the car or is there other ways to tell? Thanks

 

Typically, the VDP leather had a contrast piping sewn in. The wood pieces were of a nicer maple and the wheels were a different 17 inch style with many spokes. May be more items but thats all i remember. VDP cars were available 05-06 with the 07-08 standard cars getting the same appointments and dropping the VDP badge.

 

I have an 07. I think the above is correct!

 

My '07 x-type has all of the above plus chrome mirror covers. I don't know if the mesh grill was part of the package or not. Jack

 

I figured out how you can tell, its thru your vin number. After researching it, I figured out thats theres three series for the sedan. This is for an 05 x type. Thres the 4 door high series, entry series and sports series. I found out through my vin that I have the High series. The only thing is I dont have the VDP Badge or the seats, but everything in the VDP edition is there. Strange.....
