Awhile back my X was involved in an accident that required the driver's side to be worked on (old lady ran a stop sign, then had the nerve to say it was my fault for not stopping and waiting for her to cross...I didn't have a stop sign!!!) and they discarded my information sticker that is on the inside pillar.

Does anyone know if there is a way to get this information based on VIN? Or a way to get a new sticker, possibly?

 

It's unlikely you will be able to obtain a replacement sticker but the information is available from JDHT (Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust) as a Heritage Certificate:

Jaguar Heritage

They require VIN and proof of ownership. Cost is £42 (approx $67)

Thanks 3G's. I'll check it out, but I'm not sure it's worth $67 to me. I was just curious about manufacture date, mostly.

 

If you only want to know the information and aren't worried about an official document from Jaguar verifying it, your Jaguar Dealer can print out the details from the 'Direct Dealer Warranty' system.

There was no charge for this but I expect that depends on the Jaguar Dealer.

Now that sounds more like it. The only Jag dealer in Orlando has moved further away, but I should be able to get there one of these weekends. Never found them too helpful in the past, but maybe under new management, that has changed.
