Default Vibration in the clutch

I've bought a second x-type diesel for my wife and tbh it's a bit of a dog.

I've already spent a small fortune with the garage to remedy the suspension problems and now I have a strange vibration when I fully depress the clutch pedal.

It is difficult to describe but feels like someone is banging on the other end of the pedal.

It changes gear fine and I can't feel the knocking when using the clutch normally, only when I push it all the way to the floor. Please tell me the flywheel isn't on the way out.

Det,

I've moved your question from General Tech Help to X-Type forum. You need the model experts on this one!

Sounds like your throwout bearing is on it's way out. Unfortunately that means the transmission has to come out to fix it.

Thanks for the reply.

That's what I was afraid of.
