Warning sound for head lights

Default Warning sound for head lights

My warning sound for my head lights still isn't working does anyone have any ideas to what it is.

Hi Ant,
You don't say what year your car is, so, looking at the 03-04MY, the audible warnings are driven out of the general electronic control module.

The warnings are
seat belt
airbag
ignition key in
not in park
headlamps on
delay entry(combined alarm state and driver door ajar status)

I would therefore believe that these alarms are programmable, either on or off. Bad news, you will need dealer level diagnostics to be able to switch it on.

Thank you yes that helps. It's £75 to have it plugged in at the dealer so I will put up with it for now. If in the future I need to have it plugged in I will get them to sort it then.

If you have a good indy nearby, they may do it cheaper.
