So I stupidly broke one of the smaller bolts off my leaky water pump last week. Been driving it around but needing to add about 10oz of coolant every few days, so it definitely is not holding up well. Going to try to pull the housing out tomorrow and see if I can extract that broken bolt. I think that is my first plan of attack. From there I will know if I am shopping for just a water pump, or needing to replace the whole housing, which would be quite a bit more expensive, although I could go used. The part new with the water pump is $300. Used I've seen them around $100. Hoping to salvage the housing I have and just get a new water pump. It's been a freaking headache. I'll let you know how it goes.
