Default Water pump tensioner wheel replacement

Hi,
I'm new here. I have a 2003 X-type with 55,000 miles. The water pump was leaking so I replaced it but noticed the bearing on the tensioner wheel is going bad. Can the wheel be purchased separate as the dealer and after market sources seem to want to replace the entire tensioner?

Thanks, Chris

its one assembly as are most tensioners for most manufacturers now. reason: is pulley is going bad so too is the spring tension in the tensioner

I tried replacing the bearing in one, but you'll end up breaking the wheel. It was an experiment that didn't work out. They're not that expensive. Just replace it.

I guess I'll just buy a new tensioner.

Also notice the power steering pump seems to have a slight leak, looks like a line. That's next.

Default speaking from experience...

My 2003 3.0 had the tensioner bearing seize recently, but daughter was driving it so.... it overheated, which led to cracked upper radiator "pipe", a job which I am in the middle of, and its a nasty one. Replacing the tensioner (I was not able to find a pulley either) was a piece of cake compared to this nightmare.
