Default Well, I HAD an spotless finish.

Hailstorm today.

No sheet metal damage, but a zillion little dots right down to the primer now.

Only one fix for that, and it would cost more than the insurance company would pay.

This sucks!

Sorry to hear about the damage.
Talk with your local spray shop (collision center) they may do you a deal just to shoot the paint if you prep the car and buy the paint.

She'll be in shop soon for the rockers/A-pillar fix. Looks like I can back-fill the holes with a brush, then wet-sand, respray, and clear.

If we are going that far, we might as well fix all of the dings and shoot the whole car. About $1500, all told. Add the A/C rebuild...


Might be less expensive to find another cheap X and move things around between them!
