Hopefully I'm explaining this right, just bought a 02 xtype, and there are is a hole in between my headlight and parking lights. (the little light next to my headlight) one side has a cover my other does not. What are these holes for, and what would I call it to replace the cover? Where to look for a new cover would be awesome advice too...??

 

Eric, that hole is for cars that are equipped with a headlight washing system. As for getting a new part, your best bet will be to either contact a member here that goes by ken@britishparts.com (email him at this address, he will get it) or you can go directly to Jaguar at http://www.jaguarparts.com. Jagparts is a dealership out of Cleveland OH that I have personally used and they will bend over backwards to get you the part you need. The nice thing is to is that they are going to be about the cheapest you can find the part, especially for them being a dealership. Go to the site, send them an email or you can call them directly. But the part you are asking for is the "dummy cap for the headlight washer assembly". From there, they should be able to get you the cover.
